I contacted the dealership and was told Ray was on vacation, so the General Manager, Anthony, took over. My daughter also needed an inspection sticker and when she went to the service station to get it, they told her the registration was expired and one of the tires was bald. The next day after that, the tire was still low. She went there and was told it was fixed. My daughter contacted Ray and he told her to go to their mechanic and he would look at the tire to fix it. After that, the next day it was low again. He told my daughter to go to the dealership and they would put air in the tire. The next day, a low tire light came on so I contacted Ray. Upon arrival, the paperwork was signed and we were all set. Ray was great throughout the process, texting and emailing me back and forth throughout the process. We had to come back to the dealership the next day for financing due to it being a Sunday. Then we decided to purchase the first one. When returning to the dealership, Ray also suggested we try another vehicle so we did. He showed us the car and asked if we wanted to take it for a test drive. He made us feel comfortable and was not pushy at all. Ray is a happy guy with a kind personality. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a salesman named Ray. We had called to ask about a particular vehicle and were told the vehicle was available. We had been looking for weeks for the right used vehicle in what seems to be a crazy market of overpriced and quick-to-sell vehicles. I recently purchased a new/used vehicle for my daughter at Albrecht AutoLand North. Truly the best customer service I have ever experienced. So many things they did that they didn't have to do, were under no obligation to do, but did so anyway. It even had a full tank of gas and considering I have a 30 gallon tank that is extremely generous. They called the next day for me to pick it up and it looked showroom new. He said they would get right on it, but to give them a few days to get it fixed. I showed up on my appointment day and he had a loaner car ready and I was in an out with no questions asked. I was shocked when Tyler from their service department called me the next day to schedule a time for me to bring my truck in so they could fix the issue by re-paining the area at no charge. I emailed them clearly not expecting much to happen as it had been 6 months and they had no obligation to do anything about it. I discovered a fairly significant issue with the paint when I took it to my detailer and then a paint guy. A few weeks ago I decided to have it looked at finally. When it finally dried out I noticed a cloudiness to the paint on what area. Love those LED fog lights!Įxceptional customer service! I bought a truck the middle of this year and picked it up in the rain. Plus I actually prefer the exterior design of the 2021 MY over the new 2022 MY. I've seen brand new Mazda vehicles with mark-ups exceeding $10k over MSRP, so I'm grateful to have avoided this by searching for CPO Mazda CX-5's in a 300 mile radius. Trying to determine car values in 2022, however, has become very difficult due to the industry shortage. Both times I paid below the KBB retail value, so the idea of dealerships being more eager to make a sale towards the end of a month/quarter rings true imho. So I purchased each one on the last day of the month, after 5 pm, and was willing to walk away from a bad deal. For the 2nd time in 10 months I have found a CX-5 GT Premium Pkg sold as "Certified pre-owned" with very low miles and a better-than-new warranty. It's better in every way nice incremental upgrades but most importantly, to me anyway, is that Mazda really is as good as it gets with respect to real-world safety. I just picked up a '21 CX-5 GT with the Premium pkg & AWD. As for the rest of the car, like I said, I'm a Mazda loyalist & each model year brings more improvements. Every airbag inflated and I felt surrounded by pillows. Reading NHSTA ratings are one thing.but surviving something like that has made me really appreciate Mazda engineers. I loved my '19 GT, but sadly, it was destroyed in a head-on collision back on May 19 (a young driver tried to do a u-turn on a 4-lane highway). My first 3 Mazda's, 2 Mazda 3 sedans and a '16 Mazda 6 sedan, served me very well, with each getting to 100k miles while needing only oil changes & tires. I picked up a 2019 CX-5 with the GT premium package on August 31, 2021, with under 20k miles. I agree with all the positives I've seen everywhere about the Mazda CX-5.
